Our story, our approach
Francesco Smarrazzo
It all starts with a passion cultivated since childhood. I had one of those toy cameras that changes the picture with every click: I would spend hours scrolling back and forth through those photographs, imagining that one day I would be able to look at my own with the same passion. That was the moment I fell in love with photography.
Since 2010 I have followed a self-taught path, taking part in workshops with professional photographers from all over Italy. Today photography is my profession, the work of my life.
Before becoming a wedding photographer, I was employed at a company specializing in logistics and the tracking of industrial vehicles. I soon realized it was not the job that fulfilled me: I felt out of place and I left everything behind. Photography had always been the backdrop of my life, the motivation to face this major change and the dream I wanted to make real.
My approach is reportage: I observe, listen and capture real moments. I believe every couple has a unique story to share, and my task — our task — is to capture it with elegance, sensitivity and naturalness.
I am supported by my life partner Laura D'Auria, also a wedding photographer. We are not only work partners: we are a couple in life too, and I believe it is the union of our two perspectives that makes this work even more beautiful — richer, more complete and deeply human.

Frequently asked questions
How far in advance should I book?
I recommend contacting me at least 12–18 months before the wedding, especially for the most requested dates (May–October). However, always check availability.
Do you cover weddings outside the region?
Yes, I love to travel and shoot destination weddings throughout Italy and abroad. Travel expenses are agreed based on the location.
How many photos do you deliver?
I do not set a fixed number. I deliver all selected and edited photos that best tell your day, generally between 400 and 800 images.
When will I receive the photos?
Delivery time is generally 3–7 months. I will keep you updated throughout the selection and editing process.
Do you also offer video services?
I focus exclusively on photography to guarantee the highest quality. However, I work with trusted videographers if you would like a complete package.
